Ran-Di Creation's Artists
Randie Treas
In 1983, I took an adult education stained glass class and I’ve been creating with glass ever since. Many of my early works were created using the copper foil technique. However, in 2001, I discovered how fusing glass can result in magnificent and stunning works of art. I’m thrilled to be able to create “pictures in glass” by incorporating the unique look of fused stained glass into mosaic works. Using this technique adds a new style to the beauty of stained glass, and appeals to a new group of admirers to the stained glass genre.
The wonderful thing about creating with glass is you are only limited by your own imagination and inner vision.
Diane Jonas
I never thought myself as possessing many artists’ qualities until Randie turned my attention to the fine art of creating with stained glass. In 2001, I began mixing my passions for gardening and shopping flea markets with stained glass. My first projects were gazing balls made from recycled softballs and bowling balls. They continue to bring a sparkle to their new owner’s landscapes.
Determined to find new uses for glass pieces that were destine for the scrap box, I designed and created Bottle Lamps. They quickly became one of our popular signature products. It gives me great pleasure to be able to create beautiful things that people will enjoy for years to come and do my part to save our environment.
Ran-Di Creations was formed in 2001 by Randie Treas and Diane Jonas. Their studio is located in Warren, Michigan. They are members of the Warren Tri-County Fine Arts Association. Ran-Di Creations are exhibited in galleries, retail stores and art shows throughout Michigan.
